Founded in 2017, MEYTO s.r.o. produces furniture and accessories in Vysoké Mýto, a town legendary for its bus manufacturing and car bodywork. MEYTO was founded on the basis of collaboration of its parent company Tvarmetal s.r.o. with the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and the Olgoj Chorchoj design studio. The company’s technical center created the first products that utilized their production capabilities, yet highlighted a possibly wider scope and direction.

MEYTO launched its first presentation under the auspices of the City of Prague, exhibiting in the Prague House during the Brussels Design September, presenting the best products designed in the D3 atelier.

The company then immediately presented at Prague’s Designblok ’17, showcasing a new logo by the Marvil studio and featuring the first products designed by MEYTO Creative Director Aleš Kachlík, along with the renowned studio Olgoj Chorchoj, in collaboration with designers Tereza Froňková and David Karásek.
